Maybe that'll initiate some recalls to our pilots and FAs. Also, if this happens, could this warrant a PHL or CLT crew base should it bring in enough RON aircraft at the hubs?... maybe if we're so lucky we'll even get PHX! A. Yes to everything you say. Steve
With all the conditional statements made in that question, I'd think Steve would be hard pressed to say no to any of it. Yeah, there "COULD" be a chance of anything happening.

Hopefully Airways has a contingency plan for the uncertainties that have been raised. Take Mesa for example. If they BK and airways drops them or they liquidate, the express network will require some serious reworking when it comes to contract and wholly owned flying. Hopefully, that contingency involves Piedmont.

I dont know thats strange. Farrow seems to be the dictator that says NO hub base all the time. Then last week's AP seemed to have a different tone. 10 is the right number of 200s that MESA is dropping, but thats still several months out i thought.

Curious if anyone else trying to file for unemployment had this problem. Went into the local office the other day to file for unemployment and they said all of my wages for 2009 had not yet been reported. Didn't even surprise me all that much because I knew Piedmont is never on top of anything. All they had to go off of was the 2 quarters that they took from my 2008 wages. Needless to say, I was given a document that said I was only entitled to $250 a week...later resolved to get the maximum of $378 a week. It only took 4 hours of sitting in the unemployment office until someone would look at my pay sheets and then manually enter the information.
