Question PSAChiefPilots

PSAChiefPilots,

I believe we have talked before. I was just curious about something. Is CLT an easy base to get for a person fresh out of IOE, or is that most senior? Is commuting bad from the FLL/PBI area?

Thankyou

Laxrox43,

My advise for you, is to get on with your career and stop wandering if your going to get what base. I don't know your age, and family situation, but your limiting your options with your Fla situation. This airline career is not for you with that attitude. Suck it up and get hired and worry about that later.

Laxrox43,
we have lots of guys/gals who commute to CLT out of various cities in Florida. It's a one leg commute from a lot of places, that is not too bad in my book. I've noticed Tampa seems to have a lot of full flights with mainline jumpseaters. I know a few guys who live near tampa who drive to SRQ for the commute. Everytime I've flown to FLL the flights have been chock full.
