Question ASA Conversion Lines

So I figured out how to find the most junior guy who gets awarded conversion lines. However Ive noticed that they do not give you the days off that you bid for in the original reserve line.

Ive checked the contract and there is no concrete guidance. But arent they supposed to construct a line around the original days off that you bid in the reserve line??

And from the looks of it, its taking around 1yr and around 4 months to hold one in the 70...does that sound right?

Sounds about right to me. I would guess maybe 1.5 years. But they its only 2 months.

Check the MOU's. If you are awarded a conversion line you have the option to let the company slide your GDO's in order to fit trips on your schedule. If you do need your GDO's then don't select that option, but realize that you may not get a conversion line.

I had conversion lines a few times this spring. I kept my GDO's for a few, but not on others. Contract says they can slide the days as needed. So it's a risk.
