Default TSA breaks 9 Eagle aircraft at ORD

Hey,

I've just been hearing from the Eagle board that TSA(security) not the airline, has broken into 9 of our aircraft in ORD. I'm assuming as a security test. Doing an RGO(look up broken aircraft) this morning confirms 9 aircraft all had damaged TAT probes. Apparently from somebody using them climb on the aircraft. I know sounds completly BS, I thought it was too but, from what I have gathered its true. There were kickoff flight cx'd this morning too. So just a friendly word of advice for the ORD guys and gals be sure to pay extra attention when check out your A/C in the morning. You never know you just might find a TSA agent climbing all over it in the morning Oh, if this does turn out to be false I'll let you know. Its hard to believe but, thought I'd out it there in case anybody came across this.

lol, wow. that would be hilarious if it was true. i can just see them now trying to break into a plane. "here twist this probe, its probably the lock to the door"! hahaha

on a side note however, i have always said if i have to evacuate the plane with the rope i am taking every probe with me on my way down!

I do hope it'll be intentional; otherwise I love to be a fly on the wall when you try to explain that to the doctor while he's giving you a rectal exam.

Doctor: So you knew they were there but you still………………………………
Airsupport: Aaaaaah.........ya doc........I had to keep my promise to all my pals on APC.
Doctor: Next time use lube.
Airsupport: Ya, I usually carry a big tube but I used it all during our last negotiation period and couldn't make it to Walgreens before my trip.
Doctor: You pilots...............................OK, spread them.
Airsupport: @#$#!@$$%%#@!@#$$!!!!!!

Love it!

I'll call this thread BS. Since that matter would be criminal; breaking and entering, trespassing and destruction of property, was any law enforcement involved?

Of course it would be criminal to break something, but to enter your aircraft??? Our crews have been warned about TSA/FAA entering and hiding things on a/c to see if people are properly doing security sweeps.
Maybe it's just propoganda, but I've heard crews talk about finding things and it was placed there by TSA.

Only Transport Canada can place items on aircraft. The TSA here is strictly forbidden to do any such thing. If it does happen, get names and employee numbers!

TSA is not permitted to open any aircraft doors, nationwide. They are permitted to enter an aircraft that was left open, but they are not to operate any levers, handles, etc to gain access to an aircraft.
