Good news indeed.

BUt Colgan STILL needs a union. Vote for the union of your choice, but VOTE!

I don't think there is any thing fishy in this. A CFI friend of mine called me today to say he's been called by PNCL and told to get on airline apps now.

The next few months may be looking up, but it's too early to start getting sloshed

Our VP of OPS is working on a deal currently for more flying. The details have not been released yet but something is happeneing. We are still pulling 10 Saabs and the 1900's so why do we need more pilots?

Something is up, I'll take it with today's enviroment.

thats what i was thinking also. how can they be hiring, if 10 acs are being parked. I just hope they are not pulling comair where they hire a ton of ppl and then realize they wont get the "anticipated" flying.

We are not getting rid of any saabs. United picked up all the saabs. Those 10 are going down to Dullas for the United codeshare. So thats why we need more people. More routes, more crews.

ALB, SYR, ROC, BUF, MDT, BDL, RIC, RDU, ORF, GSO, EWR, JFK, PVD, PIT, CLT, GSP could be potentially Slaab routes for UAL

I would look at all the former ACA Jetstream runs they used to do for UAL out of IAD for an indication of what we could POTENTIALLY see.

So what does that make, 24 Saabs now in IAD with the addition of those 10?

Do you think they will continue to hire Street Captains if hiring resumes?
