Default Solidariety to our Midwest Brothers

As an RAH pilot that just found out yesterday that our pilot group will be used to whipsaw our brothers at Midwest. I would like to express my sincere disgust with this whole ordeal. I here speak for myself, but am sure that many of my colleagues agree with me.

We are hopeful our unions can help mitigate the devastating effects this will have...

Sincerely,

Planediveguy

P.S. Perhaps the idea of a "Pilot Guild" should be looked into for cases like these?

I have yet to hear of a single person, including those being furloughed, that is happy about this at RAH. We're waiting to hear form the union after they get done looking the deal over. So far no one wants to bid for the new base.

Question

I heard about this deal...supposedly they will transition the aircraft to be operated by midwest pilots eventually?

From what I have observed, I guessing the midwest folks don't have much in the way of scope?

If the aircraft are going to be operated by midwest they'll have to buy them by the way things are looking.

While I agree with the matter at hand, we need to stop using the term whipsaw unless its being used properly. Whipsaw means to be subject to two opposing forces at the same time. What they are is nothing short of being screwed...
