anyone have any ideas as to what bases they are hiring for or how long they plan on hiring? Just wondering about the commutes to dtw and mem out of albuquerque. MSP wouldn't be too bad i dont think.

When I interviewed they were hiring into all positions, but the majority of classes sounded as if they would be a split between the 900 and Saab. HR said MEM would be the easiest base to get, then DTW and MSP. The 200 is MSP only, as of now. They hinted toward a possible fleet expansion and new bases but did not elaborate beyound that.

Word from numerous sources is the hiring will continue for the foreseeable future. Atleast 2-3 classes per month. The CR2 hiring is MSP based. SF3 - DTW & MEM. CR9 - MSP, DTW, MEM. Not sure about the ABQ commute but we do have a commuter clause which comes in very handy.

Jumpseating on FedEx to/from MEM does provide some additional commuting options as there are often several jumpseat spots available.

A few classes have been going already. A CR2 and SF3 class started today. Another SF3 and a CR9 class start on 10/6. That's all we know right now.

I have a friend that was in the hiring pool that was given the 9/22 class date but had to turn it down because of college classes. They told him to expect a mid-December class date.
