I haven't seen a recent gouge lately, what's the latest? Systems on the most recent twin you've flown, Jepps, 91 regs, wonderlic, IFR test, TMAAT, WWYD? Did i miss anything?

A concern I have is I went through a one week RJ course back Mar or April and I've flushed all of that info out of my head. I've been to busy to retain it when I'm not using it. Any thoughts on whether or not I'll get hit with RJ questions? I interview on the 30th.

Thanks for the help
J

It took them about 3 weeks to call me. Have you flown an RJ? I think they're gonna give you the airplane of your choice, but for the most part, the last twin you've flown.

I was not asked any systems questions in my interview back in Jan.

during my interview i was asked one wwyd, asked "why mesaba", descent question, and a slew of ifr stuff. They knew I was a CRM instructor and we talked for a few minutes about that as well.

They probably wont ask you anything on the rj class that would be tough. They might ask you about the class, but nothing too technical.

Hey, I got an interview on Oct 23. Any information on what type of Sim? I heard the sim is based on an Arrow, is that true? Also, do you think a commute from Boston is feasible?
What is the commuter clause?

Well the guys that got hired in march and April when we stopped hiring are on reserve still until the sept class starts to kick out. While I believe the ones we just hired in September by the time they get done will sit reserve maybe a month or two. Now there are 3 or 4 classes filled since the September 8th class so go figure. If hiring continues probably not more than 3-6 months depending on base and aircraft(msp tends to be senior). If hiring stops (not implying anything as hiring looks to continue) and you catch the last boat out of the pool... well you might be on reserve for a while. 900 movement is probably the fastest now but seniority rules for upgrade. 200 movement is the slowest right now but if hiring continues a lot of upgrades are going to come out of all FO positions.

FYI good or bad depending on your desired base the 200 is ONLY MSP based while the rest are spread across MSP DTW and MEM. And I have heard but cannot confirm they tend to give the 200 to people that desire MSP as a base. So as not to stick an east coaster or some one who desires DTW or MEM in a base they cannot bid out of till 2 years or up grade.
