Eagle has a LAX base, maybe others.

Mesa has a PHX base which is a very easy commute from SOCAL.

Laxrox and rickair are right about Skywest, Mesa, and Eagle.

As for the majors:
United has domiciles in SFO and LAX
FedEx in LAX
UPS in ONT
Alaska in LAX
American in SFO and LAX (very senior)

Thanks guys. I live in the southeast right now, but I want to move out west and so I was looking for opportunities out there.

Sky King, a bottom feeder ad hoc charter company based in Sacremento. They fly B737s.
