I would try to avoid commuting if you can. I typically spend maybe 6 or 7 days at home with a 13 day off line. Two months ago there was a three week period where i was in CLT at least once that day either working or commuting. Last month I was in base for three weeks because all my trips ended late and started early after two days off. I was also told by a scheduler, " i don't know how the commuter clause works so you're on your own". I'm not sure about some of the other bases but EWN is a pain in the @$$ to commute out of because of the lines, and now with the company closing the CLT base theres at least three more captains that are going to be commuting in and out starting in May.

Just wondering, does Piedmont have all out and backs just like Colgan, or are there overnights? Thanks.

supercell,
depends on where you are based. LGA is mostly out and backs last time i checked, but they're just about the only base that does that. Most bases have a line or two of all out and backs for the people that live in base.
