Yep, that decision will be made tomorrow. They've had 7 months to come up with something. It better be something better than lost laptops.

No that's absolutely not true. The full court case is still not scheduled. Again, this is Delta's APPEAL to the injunction that was won AGAINST them. All Mesa needs to do is say: "Hey, just look at our evidence from May." Unless Delta has new evidence that they didn't have in May, the outcome is going to be the same, a continuation of the injunction until the full case is heard in 2020 or whenever our court system catches up.

*OK, there were a few sarcastic comments in there....

Here is whats gonna happen tommorow.....

1) MESA is going to win the case and will keep the flying, as well as the ERJ flying Mesa will be awarded all of the Delta 777's and 767's so that they can start new service from Phoenix to Yuma. Mesa will call back all furloughed pilots and put them directly into the 777 based out Winslow, Arizona.

2) Piedmont, Skywest, Eagle, Colgan, Pinnacle, PSA, TSA, GoJet, Great Lakes, Express Jet, Republic, Mokullele, Island Air, Commutair, Cape Air, New Mexico Air, Mesaba and Horizon will all lose any contracts that they have and all flying will be awarded to Mesa.

3) Mesa will begin a new codeshare agreement with Delta, in which they will lease Boeing 787's to Delta for 1 dollar a day. This will cause hiring to start at Delta in the months to come. Upon the hiring of over a 100 pilots for the new 787, Mesa will pull the 787's from Delta and give them to Air Tran causing more furloughs.

- Anyways hope Mesa pulls this thing out (otherwise guys like Rickair and Muushin wouldnt know what to do with themselves if there was no Mesa to bash on)

No that's not correct. DAL went to make the first move. Mesa followed by getting an injunction. Now Mesa has to prove that DAL's claims weren't correct therefore giving them no grounds to simply up an cancel a contract. This is not DAL appealing to Mesa. You can't have an appeal without a trail. They have yet to have a trail. If Mesa can't provide claims that DAL was in the wrong then DAL will get the green light to go ahead and pull the flying. Mesa can then sue DAL over it calling it a breach of contract and then take them to court. Until DAL actually cancels the flying there is nothing for Mesa to appeal since the "crime has not been committed".

Also DAL does not pay Mesa $20 mil a month. DAL pays Mesa a fee per departure just like every other major does to every other regional. That $20mil is simply a ballpark figure. Throw a few canceled flights around and watch that number shrink.

My money says that this last longer than a day. Hopefully I'll eat my words on that but basically if JO has a losing hand his best bet is to drag this out and long as possible by any means possible. Doesn't matter what he has to do whether it's "misplacing" evidence or other things of that nature. Yes I hope DAL wins. Yes I hope Mesa loses. Sorry to the crews but I'd rather see flying get shaved off the bottom then shaved off the top.

Well for starters your right I wont get any sleep since I'm in between legs right now... darn that would be so nice if I wasn't talking about flying...

Any way dude my post obviously said purely entertainment sort of like JUST FOR FUN....

Definition of FUN:

1) activities that are enjoyable or amusing i.e. fornicating with flight attendants
2)verbal wit or mockery (often at another's expense but not to be taken seriously) i.e. this thread
3) playfulness: a disposition to find (or make) causes for amusement

So please I beg you my dear friend grab that bottle of patron over there and pour yourself a drink and amuse yourself like the rest of us

Oh I see what you're saying. And I'm sure Delta is going to let that happen.

Actually you know, I think your right!!! I completly agree with you. I hope Mesa goes out of business and all of their employees are jobless at a time when getting a job at a target is hard. I also hope that your regional carrier picks up the flying that way you can upgrade to Captain as soon as possible because honestly you deserve it. By the way seeing as there is gonna be another 1500 on the street and no jobs, I was considering going to law school. Just wondering where you got your law degree from? I think i might wanna check that school out...

I got mine at the Mesa Lawyer Development Program... you might have heard of it. Pay 100,000 dollars to get trained and then Mesa Airlines actually will let me go to court for them and defend their DAL contract!! I cant believe it! I am an actual lawyer!!! Some say that I have 'shiny gavel syndrome', but I disagree.

I don't think toilet duck is correct. Delta appealed the injunction. If the injunction is lifted, DAL can cancel the contract. Case would go to trial because Mesa would go ahead with lawsuit. In the mean time, Mesa would be in deep financial trouble. If the injunction is upheld, the case will go to trial. The only difference is Mesa will not be in as bad of financial shape.

As for comments about Mesa losing flying...You don't have to worry about another regional getting the flying, no regional will get it. Delta wants to thin out the regionals, it will happen one way or another. Furloughs suck, but sorry man, us DAL pilots want Mesa out. I don't wish anything bad on Mesa or their pilots, but DAL pilots must work to keep everyone on property. It only helps everyone in the long run.

Mesa Lawyer Development, thats a great school!!! I hear that they let you fight the big cases right out of school. You can think that the only reason why I want mesa to survive is so that I could fly the "shiny jet" but its a little more than that. Its easy for a guy who has a job to sit there and wish thousands of others to lose their jobs. I was an intern there and met alot of great people who are just regular working people with families to support. I think people forget that the company doesnt just have pilots, what about the FA's and mx guys, rampers and office personal. Plus if I ever get recalled (alot of people are probably praying to god that dosent happen) I actually want the Dash 8.
