Didn't the court hearing in January last a few days? If so, that would give them a few more days to issue the ruling, right?

Guys, you are wasting your time on this. No decision will be made. I have said it before; the case was settled out of court. Mesa’s move from JFK to CVG and a reduction in flying is part of the settlement. This information is based on my opinion only.

If they had settled Mesa would be screaming this from the mountain tops since it's the lifeline they need to keep going.

Unless Delta gave up, in order for them to have settled there would first have to be an opinion made by the judges. Nothing on that yet. And yes JO would really prefer to keeps things on the low since he only runs a public company with share prices in the gutter...

A settlement "out of court" is just that and happens before the judges/jury can rule or express their final opinion. Delta wouldnt have to "give up" to settle. Both parties could mutually agree to certain terms such as reduced rates, reduced number of airframes, defined performance metrics, back payment for cancelled segments.... sometimes it is in their best financial interest to settle instead of paying a team of lawyers to go to court. I think if we were going to see a settlement favoring mesa we would have in the beginning of this. Delta has deeper pockets and can keep pushing this court case until mesa is financially forced to accept deltas settlement or gamble on paying a huge legal bill by taking this to the courts decision.

delta is not playing nice and mesa is trying to preserve cash....

I doubt Mesa is worried about having to pay their bills---they've always seemed to have trouble in that department anyway.
