I don't have any sympathy. A $2000 contract adjustment.... the fact it was the same EXACT amount paid twice.... and that does not raise a red-flag to you?? Get real... It's your problem because you transferred a suspicious deposit out of your account. It appears as soon as Mesa accidently paid you twice, you transferred that money out of your account to somewhere else. Why? Why would you transfer money out that you know is NOT YOURS??? ZERO sympathy. I am usually not one to speculate, but it seems you took that money out of your account not knowing they had the ability to reverse it. I am not sure what you thought you were going to do with it. But when they reversed it and you got screwed, you cry about them making the situation right.

Payroll snafus happen everywhere. It happened a lot when I worked for other carriers and not as Mesa. I've also heard good things from other pilots that Mesa payroll is good at fixing things when they are wrong. I'm sorry, but this one is your fault.

Just when you think mesa can't get any worse. I have a friend at SKW who got overpaid...they want the money back, but they did not deduct it from his account without warning! He agreed to an installment plan.

I can't imagine anybody getting F'd by Mesa. They seem like such a solid company.

Wow, a little bit from all sides; can't give the flames much credibility when they say it's my own fault... I have gotten multiple paychecks from MAG in the past, and we were supposed to be expecting to get a back-pay adjustment for B/B that was negotiated into the new contract. What does the fact that they are the same amount mean? So they broke it up into two checks... which as I say they have done before.

Luckily WF dropped the overdraft fees that amounted to $75! And, if SKW has made this mistake before, well I suppose it is par for the course. BUT, I got no warning from anyone about this, and just tiptoed through the tulips thinking I was going to finally pay off some big bills.

Oh well, such is life. Yea, I will just go across the street and get another pilot job... *bingo* Heck, what I really wish for is an abrupt end to this clown airline. It'd be the best thing that has happened to me in a while.

In the mean time, I think it's time to end the DD thing. Back to paper and this won't happen again. Fool me once, fool me twice. Yet, I still work for MAG so I can't dodge the fool label for long.

**
And, come to find out I wasn't the only one this happened to. Apparently a large number of our pilots were effected by this. Go figure.

Yea, definitely got two $1500 dollar deposits in my account. Was hoping either it was somehow related to the block or better back pay thing which hasn't happened yet, or some mess up that they wouldn't catch. But yea still looking forward to giving up my 2 years of seniority when SkyWest calls.

Got a couple paychecks by mistake at transstates once, Turned out to be some odd amount, my overage from the previous month + half guarantee + the next month's half guarantee....They called me after it happened, i apparently wasn't alone, but, they didn't pull the money out of the account. Instead, they just deducted it out of the later check the next month....sucked, i hate budgeting that far in advance.

Wait, you guys are allowing them to violate your new (crappy) contract regarding pay? It's been over a month and nothing's been done about the block or better?

Nobody I ever met could make sense of MAG payroll. I wouldn't blame anyone for not knowing what a particular deposit was for, or whether it was the right amount.

Block or better has been in effect since Dec. 7. About a month of that was "retro," and we just got paid for it.
