No problem man. FWIW, I've heard rumors for almost 2 yrs. now that:

a.) We're about to be dropped by US Airways
b.) Dash 8s eliminated out of PHX

I don't believe or take much credence in rumors and I hope for the benefit of both our pilot group as well as Piedmont's, neither airline sees its Dash fleets downsized. Rumor B coupled w/ the Airways annual report is what has me very interested in all this. I would have blown off all of this as a bunch of malarkey had it not been for the report.

I don't know how to copy a pdf, but I can confirm that the letter is on Piedmont's website.

I really wonder how many pilots is he talking about here, he said through attrition with FA/MX should be enough...how many FA/MX is he expecting to leave in the next few months? Hope all the best guys!

Well we currently staff about 5 crews per airplane. So at the very least losing those 4 -100s equates to rougly 40 pilots. As many as 100+ if all 11 -100s are gone by the end of the year.

According to a letter sent out by Steve Farrow Today, Piedmont will be returning four of their leased Aircraft due to difficult economic times and failure to reach "acceptable" terms on a new leases for them. (In other words, the lessors wont Give them away for free). This will result in reduced flying in the next few months and furloughs in May. The Same month that our contract becomes Amendable...What an amazing coincidence.

And the same month that my 2nd year FO pay was supposed to kick in. Zippity do da!

Personally, I think we've had more pilots than needed for a while, hence why I haven't flown since 1/1 and basically skipped November.

The latest email from ALPA mentioned about 20-25 pilots. Better than 40-100, but unless it's 10, I'm screwed either way.
