[quote=deadstick35;556145]Air Wisc just gave USAirways a bunch of cash. IF the CRJ is to replace the Dash (on those great CLT-CAE and CLT-ASH runs), then I bet they get it before PSA.

Agree 100%

It all depends. If AWAC already meets the contract mins then maybe not. At the end of the day mainline doesnt have to pay for PSA fuel buring two engines like AWAC does and other factors like they do for AWAC. At the day end money was given not as a good gesture but an investment. AWAC and RAH both will get money on their investment. Not meaning more flying by any means.

Do not look into this at all. PSA always updates this. Just now it got tailored to the current trends. Heck I HIGHLY doubt we even have a pool any more. To be honest I would be shocked to find out we do. Especially when we can get former 121 guys on property over less qualified guys. Who knows we do funny things here.

You still do. I doubt that it will be disolved since they are still taking resumes, Mesa is in a pickle and PDT will need to have some flying covered here shortly. I also agree with the above statement about RAH and AWAC, I bet Airways wants to keep contract company flying to a min. right now

Let me say first and foremost I do not want a recall because PDT lost flying. That's their flying and if we do get flying because of their loss that's just unacceptable. I know they would say the same thing. Keep in mind AWAC/RAH do a different type of flying from PSA. RAH does longer routes that are not full enough to be Mainline. AWAC does a lot of DCA/PHL operations. PSA is much more CLT and a few planes in DCA/LGA/PHL. So if flying were to increase in PHL it'd be to AWAC and RAH. So if there's a need their flying will increase. I just do not see it being out of CLT.

I hope you have a job at some point. Right now I do not see all of our current qualified guys being back this year. Thus its hard for me to imagine we will keep a pool that long. Hell I have yet to hear anything from MGT since being on the street. And i'm number 5 from recall. Half my class is still flying. There's a lot to learn about PSA and management. We will run as thin as possible for as long as possible. Just how things run here.

We are beginning contract negotiations, and things could not be worse here. Management is downright torturing the pilot group. They are trying to break us down. The battle is getting ugly. I won't post all the details on this public site, but management is making it clear that they have no concern for the pilot group and are going stand and fight any QOL improvements we try to gain. It will be a long process, and I just pray that our pilot group stands together and fights to win the improvements we so desperately need.

It's easy to figure out what PSA will do and not do. If it costs money, PSA will not do it. IF Mesa goes TU, I can see that flying going to the contract carriers. Airways has no interest in acquiring airplanes in this downturn.

Let me guess, they want PSA to fly the CRJ 900 for rates compatable to the 200/700
