I agree with your post, I have been on the ramp for ua for 16yrs..I also fly the rj. I make more on the ramp than i do flying. But I need both jobs now so I can keep my house. To say that the ramp agents can kiss your @#! is wrong. If your talking about ramp agents for ua, the company has cut so many, thats why your waiting all the time, not because of anything else. the other day I worked a 777 with 3 people!! thats it, and when I was flying last week I waited 15 min for a parker in iad, and they are not ua they are contract people! if I'm wrong plz do tell me thanks

Cheers to that!! My best friend graduated in December and is still looking for jobs. Luckily his Dad is able to employ him until he finds one, but he majored in Forestry and his Dad is in construction.... not exactly in his line of study. Glad you have something to fall back on. I'm very much considering going back to school after I pay off some debt to get my BS in Meteorology.
