I'm in the pool and I'm still instructing too, but it's getting old fast. I think I'll give it another year tops, and then I'm going to have to move on with my life (away from instructing), even if that means something ridiculous like teaching English in Asia...

When Skywest is ready to finally give me a class date I'd certainly take it. I'm at the bottom of the pool anyways, so I figure there will be plenty of advance notice for when I would be starting training. So that would allow me to go rent a plane and get current at the very least. I'm not going to instruct for 5 more years just to keep currency for something that may never materialize.
Who knows, they might even pull the plug and drain the pool. I mean, it's been over a year since I was hired... Plus I guess SKYW would bring on all those furloughed ASA guys before us. I'm thinking it's gonna be a very long time still...
