Hey Newty I'm with you buddy! I don't believe a single bit of this crap unless I see it and we are flying it. My Kool Aid has turned a little sour as of late.

It's called "purple drink"

Ingrediants: Sugar, water, and of course... purple

There is a silver lining in all this. Assuming that they do call the poolies for a class, you will be a bottom dweller for a very long time. Think it's depressing sitting at home? Try doing the early AM ready sit over and over again as you watch all the jovial line holders roll in 10 minutes before their report time. It gets old very quickly. Home is much better and you can recycle aluminum cans for more pay than a reserve FO pulls down.

Big stuff is coming, don't be surprised if we have classes before the end of the year.

I didn't think I would ever say this but Slaphappy appears to be right. About classes anyways. Was just informed by the training department that a class is scheduled for October. No this is no joke. Straight from the horses mouth.

Sorry to say but I think before a poolie can get a class it has to first be offered to UAL and ASA furloughs. At least that's what I've been told by others who have higher pay grades than mine.

Can anyone confirm?
