highlights - pilot training. ATP required 1500 hours min for hiring
Stall upset requiring/stick pusher training
Pro standards - Pilot mentoring programs will be required (captain sully had input on this)
Electronic pilot record database will be required for record keeping it will go beyond the 5 years lookback they have now
All Websites will be required to show which carrier will be operating the flight of the ticket you purchase

Requires the FAA to implement new rules. Also commissions the National Academy of Sciences to study commuting as it applies to fatigue.

The regional industry is going to have a reckoning soon. It would appear that the puppy mill industry will be finished.

Looks like the days of scrapping for students at a flight school for 3-4 years then slugging around in the middle of the night in a Lance, a 99, or a metro are coming back.

I love how this idiot just said that raising the hours required in the cockpit will eventually make airlines feel they should raise pay. He made it clear that the bill will not force airlines to increase pay...they should just feel that they should. HAHA, yeah right....
