Yeah, those a/c you got from Comair in 2007; you can go view those leases down on Virgina Ave in ATL! Betcha SkyWest Inc isn't on the lease! ASA has a few that are owned/leased by Delta as well. You try to fly those a/c for a competator to Delta, and watch how fast they'll disappear from your fleet!

We are parking our own planes. ASA owns about 80% of its fleet. You can look it up on Skywest Inc. SEC reports. Those are the ones we are looking for new flying. In DLs SEC report I know you can look up tail numbers to their WHOLE fleet including their RJs. Problem is that there is so many of them I forgot which one it was in. I think it was the 8-K.

We would not need to add much staffing to keep flying we are currently doing.
I think that maybe a premature assumption. You are right and wrong... it all depends on how much block hrs we get IF WE find flying for those 20 CRJs and where they are based. If they open a new base for them staffing will be a bit higher then if they are in ATL.

Oh I undestand that. I was just trying to inform the quoted poster that SkyWest does not own/lease every aircraft it has in it's fleet and that it can't use all those a/c however it wants to; as he stated.

Yes, but you guys just got PBS which changes that staffing model. PBS reduces the staffing requirment by 10-20%

Yes, but it has yet to be voted in. If and when that happens will be quite some time from now. It takes forever to do anything in this world.

And ALPA's E-Mail on the duty/flight times for that bill really is going to change the rules, if passed.

So can anyone answer my original question? What airlines have furloughed into their "no furlough" contract and how did that company end up? I'm being serious as I really don't know. The only one I know of is Delta and in the end it worked out ok with the retro-pay. They had the judge on their side being under bankruptcy protection.
