Has anybody noticed that the people making the comments are not the usual loud mouths? Where are all the SJS kids bashing everybody? Where's all the hatred and division? I don't want to judge here, but perhaps they feel less than compelled to share. It just might ruin there APC "cred."

I had 950TT, 140ME, 710 PIC and 520 CFI when I got hired. Sad thing is that was middle to high time with group I got hired with.

What does it matter if you have more total time than most captains you fly with?Maybe you guys are too cool to fly the saab?Do you have the pic rating in the saab I would guess not because if you did then you would not be running your mouth.I agree that one of the only ways to get the public to think better of the regionals is to make it more competitive. That my friends is only a a knee jerk reaction by raising it to 1500 hours.Colgan really botched it,bad deal very sad. These new duty periods are going to make a huge demand for pilots we were told 10 to 20 percent more pilots needed for current flying. Then old guys retiring?Where are you going to get 1500 hour qualified guys?

I love it when the first question out of a captain's mouth at the start of a 4-day is "How many hours do you have?"

What does SJS mean? Just a question, so don't jump all over me. I've never sent a text message, but I do know what *** means.

1. are you a captain?

2. if yes, have you flown with the 500 hour types?

3. If yes, then you understand
