Any RAH guys hear anything on this rumor? Word is that a person on that RAH board of directors is telling people that they are trying, again, to buy PDT, for whatever reason. And if so, WHY? I sure don't get it.

Comes as news to me but I wouldn't be surprised by anything from RAH at this point.

My cousin works in a pet store where a Republic board of directors member's gets his dog groomed, and his dog told my persian cat that Republic was looking to purchase Atlanta Hartsfield Airport, possibly even conduct a leveraged buyout of Atlanta itself.

The know very well what they are getting themselves into, we are pilots and we pilot!!! The are business people and they screw!!!

I'm sure there is, but this is the place to ask. Just curious what other pilots hear. When you don't feel like your airline will be around in two years, and LCC won't even comment to ease that fear, you just like to hear what people have to say on different rumors. Yes, RUMORS. That's all we have anymore.

I was asking him (jokingly) if we could be bought out by Southwest. Wouldn't that be great though, a purple Dash.
