I got a question. Miami is still a senior base? seems like the new flying is going to Miami, is this going to make it a junior base? what about displaced people?

MIA ATR is pretty senior for CAs, but not bad for FOs.

It's pretty damn junior for FO's actually, I would've been displaced there if they hadn't decided to furlough instead.

So, if I have + or - 1,000hr I have a chance in the future?? (hopefully may or june)

Oh my gosh!!! Will everybody just chill on the "minimums" question. Do you guts really think that anybody has any idea what future mins will be? Even the hr department doesn't know what they will be so how could we? You know how to find out the mins? Apply fir the job and wait for a call. That's the only way cause they change so much. Just take the news as it is.

Yes you would if all of the 5,000 or so other unemployed pilots don't get the call before you do. Its the same as before things got bad, you either get the call or you don't. The difference is there are going to be thousands of other pilots who are ALOT more qualified then you, so you're going to need to stand out in some way. Make connections and continue to build those hours and you might get that call.

Will the recalls get to pick the base again like during newhire training or will they be subject to staffing needs or will there be a bid/lottery?

Welcome back to the first 20, and for the rest- hang in there. Thank you to those pilots who have refrained from picking up extra flying. Lets keep it up until they are all back.

Just curious what do you guys have in the contract for recall rights? Can you waive the recall right and remain on the list? If so how many times before it forces your resignation of your number? What percentage do you guys think will take it?
