You guys are so excited about this its ridiculous. As Spoilers stated, WHO CARES. It’s not like this is going to create a hiring boom at other airlines. It just means more pilots on the street. Good luck to all the Mesa crews.

The wild card in any of the Q400 rumors at United is now Skywest inc has "last look" provision with the first 30 large turboprops with United...

Yea but the leases are up on 4 of them in April. I doubt they be renewing them.

Im confused. they will be losing 10 dash 8's from the united contract, so they will need to find a home for 10 dash 8's. Unless im missing something.

For someone that normally doesn't have nice things to say about Mesa, thanks for that. I appreciate your sincerity, and your maturity in realizing this is more than seeing Mesa die, but there are good people who will be out of work in these hard times. It sucks.

No it will just mean more Mesa pilots on the street. Could be movement for other 3000 furloughed.

the ual dash flying ends april, other poster said 4 leases up in april = 6 dash's homeless

Sorry to hear that its terrible for any airline to announce possible pilot furloughs. I think possibly Continental they have Colgan and Commutair operating alot of Connection routes. Who knows guys/gals
