I've been flamed seriously for asking WHERE these rumors are coming from. But, there are too many 145's sitting around doing NOTHING for me to believe they would not rather get something for them than NOTHING. I could sit here and say we were going to begin raising butterfiles for Hulas since I don't have to back it up with any facts or sources... Rumors are like stock picks, you spread enough of them and you'll eventually get one right. Fire away, got my asbetos panties on...

That was my response as well. What I was told was that all the 145's they have littering the BNA airport all require massive engine work (to the tune of 2-3mil apiece) to be brought back to flying condition.

Been off for a few days since hearing that, so I've gotten nothing more on it... On the upside, I did see a real live new-hire this morning. They do exist!
