Now then, I challenge you to break the tradition of information-starving TSA pilots and tell us about some of these "good things" that are going to happen. (And no, hiring and upgrading to cover attrition doesn't count as a "good thing" happenning). I'm not being facetious, I really do want to know. What do we have to look forward to?

Maybe the electronic manuals are the highlight we should be happy about...
He must be management or management wannabe... Tells great big lies, and can't back his stories up... Typical TSA bull$h!t

This isn't another one of those management guys coming on here posing as a pilot? Like that one guy from the American threads? That dude just popped outta nowhere prior to AA going BK...
But hey I've been wrong before. Just once though. . Apologies if I am wrong a second time!

All the hiring is for planned attrition. Obviously there's no actual growth to speak of. And as for AQP, electronic manuals etc. all of these initiatives will be rolled out at all three carriers which spreads the R&D cost out for them. Having a program like AQP reduces insurance costs for the company. I have yet to see how these programs coming means anything for TSA. Even if TSA had closed, they would still be rolling these programs out at gojets and compass. But maybe this guy has some secret info he's not sharing with the rest of us.

Let me set a few things straight though. There are going to be new hire classes for many months to come at Trans States Airlines. Significant upgrades are also forecast for the upcoming months. AQP will be kicking off for continuing qualification during the month of October, and AQP for Initial, Upgrade and Requal training will be following shortly.

There are many good things happening at this airline. I would challenge everyone on here that has been speculating and complaining to join those of us who are actively trying to improve the Trans States working experience. I am a realist and understand that there are those who are happiest when they are miserable, but I don't think that is the case for everyone. Stop looking back and *****ing about the past, and instead start looking forward and asking how each of us can make things better.
I've always wondered if we on the "busier" regional airline forums would start to see posts like this. My logic is that some regionals, particularly the ones with the poorest reputation among pilots like TSA, might try to start having management pilots/personnel/HR people post on these forums. Perhaps they're a little "nervous" about the truth that comes out on these forums and are concerned about their ability to attract applicants for their crappy, entry level jobs as retirements start at the majors. So management gets the bright idea to have its biggest Kool-Aid drinkers (love the "Oh Yeah" graphic above!) come out and try to tell everyone how wonderful things are and that they're just a misunderstood regional that really is a great place to work.

So future TSA pilots, ignore the multiple furloughs, the crap-tastic management/pilot relationship, the whole GoJet fiasco (and that's just off the top of my head)....that was the past and we're going to have a new bright future! Hulas is a great guy- really! He has big plans for all of you!

I also wonder if some airlines will threaten forums such as this with lawsuits. We shall see I guess.

Lets not get carried away with how much "truth" comes out on this forum...I would put that percentage at well below 50%.
