Sweet.. So I'm not the only one on here that wants to take a whizz on every performance memo we get.
I demand one of these in every crew room to improve performance.

Why do you have to be an argumentative dou$he loser all the time? Can you not admit, for once, that there is probably a better way out there to do something other than the way trans states does it currently? It happens often, where the FA will hand us the count with the jetbridge attached, ask if we are good to close, tell the jetway person that we ARE good to close and they can pull it, then walk all the way to the back of the plane while the jetway is being pulled. We need a policy change saying after handing us the count, before the jetway is pulled, to close the door before doing their final walk through. That way we would be on time more, as well as eliminate the chance of a passenger doing what I already wrote about.
THEN TELL HER TO CLOSE THE MUTHA FUKKKING DOOR! I have literally never seen this in my time here. When she asks if we are good, she closes. We aren't supposed to close and pull bc of having to pull pax off occasionally. If you know you are gonna be good then tell her to close the frigging door. Be a captain you idiot.

I see this happening all the time. They shouldn't be telling us they're good to go if they need to head back into the cabin again. They hand us the count, I tell them we're good to close and the jetway gets pulled and the FA is in the back doing something with the door wide open at go time. We all should be running the numbers and be aware of weight restrictions. The excuse that we need the door open in case we have to pull a passenger at the last second really doesn't fly.

Read an interesting article about TSA in aerocrew news today. The article which is for the month of July, said the CQFO program will likely start again towards the end of this year. Thoughts?

I've just completely given up on the douche duo and their perpetual need to argue but I see it every day. The senior FA's don't do it. It's just the newbs, which means it's how they're being taught. It's gotta go.

1) Tell the FA that she is good to close.
2) if she leaves the door and tells the ramp to pull, stop the ramp.
3) tell the FA that they can't pull the bridge until she's ready to close the door.
4) tell the gate agent that they cant close the door until the FA authorizes.
Or
Do what you do and complain while requesting MORE common sense regulations.
Solution
Quit being a whiny idiot and be a Captain or bid FO so someone else can take responsibility

We are stretched thin as it is. I just picked up an easy 3 day in open time and got juniored (RTD) every single day of it...turned into a lot of credit though. We are adding 3 planes every month for the next year or so. I believe our latest seniority list had roughly 530 pilots on it (including management and guys still in training). We have guys leaving for Legacies and LCC's. All that to say, I don't know how we are going to keep up with hiring. The CQFO program may help, but I could easily see the next round being used as FO's mostly. The staffing issue is not limited to Trans States...it's gonna get worse industry wide as time goes on. Hopefully compensation will increase as pilots become a valued asset.

Thanks Coney. I am currently flying 121 with an offer from TSA. I meet the mins for CQFO, and would much rather do that then first year pay. The 10K is nice, but a CQFO would be preferred. Just trying to decide if the pros of starting now, outweigh the risk of waiting for a better opportunity. Thanks again either way growth will be refreshing.
1) Seniority.
Need I go further?
If you wait until the CQFO program starts again, which it may not, you're gonna regret it.
