This guy is really good with math! Clearly he doesn't understand how scale affects an operation. A single cancelation at TSA has much greater impact on stats than at XJT. It takes 45 canceled flights to lose 1% whereas it would take 270 canceled flights at XJT to drop 1%. Not saying the company is excused from their fault cancelations but saying it's ridiculous that their completion rate isn't higher than SKW is absurd.

its the fact that companies that have less flights should be able to complete more. C5 for example has only ~90 flights and they cancel nearly 10 percent of them. Who cares about scale. If you have less flights, it should not be a burden on your company to complete them.

#2 - I love how fired up you guys get over a sarcastic comment about performance.

St. Louis hasn't really been considered Jr. Previously, it was the most senior base. Definitely still is on the captain side. All the AA flying is going to be out of St. Louis, so people are being awarded it again. In terms of FO's the term 'Jr' is pretty relative, since guys are upgrading so fast. The top 10-12 guys in Dulles will bid captain by the end of summer. This can probably be said for the other bases as well.
