The highlights of the agreement are as follows:

* 3 year agreement (July 1, 2015 - June 30, 2018)
* Minimum Daily Guarantee increase to 4:12
* New 1:4 Time Away From Base guarantee (1 hour of pay for every 4 hours TAFB)
* 1.5% pay raise across the board on July 1, 2015 and another 1.5% in January 2017
* Year one FO rate of $30/hour (possibility to increase to $36.50)
* A guaranteed Pilot Profit Share payout in September 2015
* FAR 117 pay protections
* Pilot Profit Sharing (PPS) payout guarantees for the duration of the agreement
* PPS payout equal to 6% of SkyWest Airlines net income in 2015 and 2016
* PPS payout increases to 7% in 2017 and subsequent years
* PPS payout every 6 months
* Per diem increase to $1.85 on July 1, 2015 and to $1.90 in January 2017
* 1% increase in 401k company match with NO vesting schedule
* One extra guaranteed day off for line holders (19 max duty days)
* One extra guaranteed day off for reserves (18 max duty days)
* Creation of a SAPA Scheduling Liaison to assist in pairing construction
* Additional incentive for Company Open Time up to 15 days out

The main give back or "concession" if you will, was that there is now a 2-year seat lock for all new hires that are given a documented choice of equipment at time of hire.
If they are just assigned an aircraft (CRJ/ERJ) without being given a choice, there is no seat lock

SAPA did a backdoor vote in May after the first pay package failed so as to allow new-hires to vote this time around. That's about 600 peeps who were looking at a massive pay-raise, all for twenty seconds of their time to check a box and click submit on the interwebs. I'll bet 99% voted, and 99% of them voted yes.

There's a reason NOBODY else in this freakin industry allows newhires to vote.

Ok, later. Off to airline apps now.
Didn't you hear?? SAPA looked at the official numbers and there was only 18 people that got to vote this time after the bylaw change. BS!! It still was way too far to the Yes side, but there was more than 18 people that got to vote this time.

If TG's email didn't sum it up for everyone, it was the classic CC TFAYD. I can't wait to see what flying was already secured and just waiting for this to pass. At least we won't have to shrink now!

It will be interesting when all the senior to mid level line holders have to work more days to pick up the 'extra day off for everyone' clause. Everyone will be working max days.

Talk about unintended consequences.

Who administers the vote?
Yes the last vote ended at the beginning of May and about 2 weeks later SAPA changed the bylaws to allow people to vote day 1. Before it was after your check ride, which as backed up as we are could be 4 months after your start date. It wasn't brought up in one meeting to be voted on during another one. It was voted on during the same meeting with no time for reps to get feedback or for anyone to consider what the effects may be. Well, I should say I'm sure the EB knew exactly what the effects would be and it appears they were right.

Supposedly some 3rd party voting software, but again I don't trust anything that SAPA says anymore. The last couple months (probably years) just shows that they give us the illusion of having a say in our career. It's too bad because we have had some good reps, but most bail after taking a peek behind the curtain.

The worst part of this entire POS TA that was voted in is the 15% that didn't vote. There is one, and only one, pilot that I politely asked that he not vote on the TA because he is leaving the company for Atlas 4 days after the vote.

For some reason, 15% of the pilot seniority list doesn't have the huevos to cast a vote concerning their pay or QOL, yet they will ***** and moan about it. I have yet to ever meet one of these pathetic souls....seems every time I ask if someone voted they always say they did vote. If you're not going to vote, and I ask you if you did, at least have the balls enough to be a man and own it.

OO management is sleeping comfortably laughing at the 66% they sold this TA to. And when they are through laughing they are going to celebrate the TA that is being forced down the throat of the 33% that sees it for what it really is. Garbage.

66% don't see and understand the history of negotiations at OO, and they haven't learned from the past how SGU operates. Sad.

What's even more depressing is the 15% of our peers that couldn't take the time to vote....but you take their damned water away from them or threaten to make the 8 hour rule a 12 hour rule and fecal matter hits the fan. Pathetic. I doubt this 15% visits these forums, but if you do and your part of the 15% that didn't vote....please go bend over and do yourself.

Isn't that true of every pay package that is ratified?

Probably enjoying his summer. Like I was last week. It was nice to be away from everything, but I did miss the whole picture scandal.

I'm going to log off now and go search for my 4 million dollar home I can purchase with this new pay package. Oh wait, that is management that can afford that after locking us into a crappy package for 3 years. Good thing nobody listened to the earnings call where they bragged about how much more flying they are able to suck out of us pilots. Good thing we locked in that E175 at the CRJ 700 rate. Hopefully in 3 years I will have the ability to help the company again after the record profits we make. Or is 3 years when we are finally going to be able to "get paid" Or will we want to "raise the bar" with some little gains and hope the next pay package will be the one??
