Not in my case. It was thorough and covered FOM/SOP, Op Specs, memory items, limitations, systems stuff. It definitely wasn't just going through the motions and reading questions off a sheet.

I've posted this question before on the hiring page, so please excuse the redundancy..I figure I have more chance of getting an answer here.

Anyone know if they will take someone with an ATP who isn't 23 years? They list being 23 as one of their requirements, which I'm assuming is because that's generally the age you need to be to hold one.

Thanks

They have a guide with topics they're required to cover, but they're still free to ask whatever they want. In my experience so far every check pilot has been a little bit different. You can find a gouge for most of them if you're into that sort of thing.

Also curious, I read MSP is a junior base? How do equipment assignments work? If you are assigned bro how does it work with moving over to the RJ?

There is a 1 year seat lock for equipment transitions. If you are hired onto the bro you will be eligible for transition after you've been with the company 1 year. Transitions are awarded in seniority order if classes are running.

The new rule was modified at the last minute to allow for a restricted ATP at age 21, so I suspect they just haven't updated the web page.

Call and ask, if you already have the restricted ATP in-hand that should alleviate any regulatory confusion related to how they would issue one during training.

Thanks Rickair, I actually already did just that. I was told it was no problem and that I could apply.

Here's to hoping!
