Default Pen Air

I've been looking at Pen Air's website and it doesn't list minimums for F/O positions. Anyone have insight? Are you able to pick what airplane you want to fly? Seems like it would be a good company to work for and the flying would be adventurous.

+1!! Dear mods add a like button to this website already. Jonas is just trying to find out his options, but I guess some people forget what that is like!

They already had their annual new hire class back in April. Unlikely they will hire anymore until next year unless there is a mass exodus. You have to have 700 hours to go into the Saab. If not they will only offer you a Caravan SIC job. They are a typical crappy regional. Pay is a little better than some regionals but Alaska is a lot more expensive. You fly your butt off in the summer. There are some neat destinations but that gets old after the first few times. Home every night which is nice but upgrade would be 6 plus years as Captains have a pretty good gig. Most FOs bail after a year for other regionals so skip it and just straight to Eagle or wherever.

But the Boss' two daughters are very hot. (seem dumb as a box of rocks but hot all the same)

Also is the guy on the show really the HMFIC? Looking at the APC info it would seem that there would be other people running the company. Maybe he is just the face?

Sorry for not adding anything useful, would be interesting flying though.

I think you confused Penair with Era.

I have a friend up there flying the Cherokee 6 for PenAir and no chance of getting into the Saab anytime soon. If you're looking for a quick upgrade this is not the place to go. However; If you're looking for fun flying, great fishing and hunting along with lack of women, then PenAir is the place for you.

There is a class this fall. Please have more than 700 hours if applying for the Saab. Or better yet, go somewhere the upgrade is reasonable.
