I really don't see how it can be an isolated case when the most junior person of 19 gets an upgrade. That means that everyone senior to her that also has the 1000 121 time could have had the same thing and in fact could outbid her. All you need to know is that this company is growing fast and I am super happy to be here. Get off the pot and join up already. Wouldn't you like to be on the front wave of hiring for once?

Hahaha. Well, I make $125,000 and average 13-14 days off. Life isn't so simple.

why so you can be qualified on the 1 jet they have on property?...oh thats right C5 will have near 5 jets on property by then right? 1/mo.
Not bashing commutair, just wondering why new hires would want a jet class out of the gate when they wont have many on campus....

Haha, because it's a hard decision to take a 70% pay cut with a family and mortgage? There are very real reasons I would like to consider CommutAir. I'm not bragging about my salary, it comes at a cost, otherwise I wouldn't consider leaving. I'm just responding to the person who makes it seem like it's such an easy decision to make. We are all in different places. Many people think those that are going to the regionals are all 24 year olds with nothing to lose.

Sorry if that came off as anything else.

Any idea how the skype interview works? Scheduled for next week but haven't gotten anything from them. Looking to get all that tech setup before the interview if possible.

Download Skype. Do a test call. Very easy.

An hour before the interview they will send you the test. 40 questions. Weather, performance, aerodynamics, regs. Sheppard Air is $39 for prep and spot on if you're so inclined.

After you pass the test they will send you an email to confirm. At designated time they will call you. Might take a few moments to figure out the video etc. Don't worry about it. They are used to it.
Very relaxed and easy.

Interview with HR and a pilot.
HR starts. Why C5? Tell me about your current job. Questions about your resume/history/airline app. TMMAT questions.
Pilot asks tech questions about a system or two on current aircraft. Questions on Jepps, alternates, simple regs.

Aviationinterviews.com has spot on gouge.

Best of luck.

^^^This, also wondering what a typical 4 day looks like? Legs per day? Trip value? Length of overnight? Dead Heads? Lost days?
