You should contact United.

Nice try.

Used to fly Harrisburg - Newark route regularly on Commutair. United said they temporarily pulled the route due to the Newark runway construction this summer, however, that is over now and the route is still gone. Looks like it returned to other places (i.e. Scranton, etc.) Any chance or info on when/if this service will come back to MDT?

I looked at the August schedule but it shows no landings in MDT. I'm really not sure why we stopped going there. There could be higher demand during the summer, necessitating a larger aircraft.

Thanks for the info Duke. I'm not sure why either, but the airport has removed the service entirely from their route map and I have not seen any of the other United Express (or any other airline for that matter) pick-up the route in lieu. Kind of sucks since Harrisburg also had service to Cleveland too through UAX, but that is no more as well. Would love to see the Newark route come back soon.

Thanks for the update Diver - appreciate it. That would be really great, keeping my fingers crossed for it.

Are classes still full? How long can a new hire expect to be on RSV these days? Are RSV FO's flying a lot? How does the upgrade time look? How many hours are FO's getting per month?

Full classes for us is usually around 8-10. The last couple months have met that number.
RSV time had crept up to 6-8 months at the beginning of the year because we were having trouble hiring before the LOA was signed. It's been falling since then.
RSV guys are still flying a good amount because we still aren't at the numbers we need in regard to total pilot group.
The July upgrade class was right at 2y6mo. Again, that number is currently dropping due to upgrades running every month again.
Lineholder F/O's will get 75 minimum, up to 95. As for RSV, I'm not too sure. Maybe a RSV guy can chime in?
