102+ Hours of flying?!?! Are these Fo's or Ca's? Here I am stuck in the Saab on RSV for a year. Time to put my application elsewhere.

Sure, we don't have the HIGHEST PAY for a regional airline, but so what? It's not the lowest. We have 75hr guarantee, and a lot of reserve guys that I've talked to on the B1900 fly closer to 90hrs, by choice. A few guys this past month have flown 102+hrs. That right there is more than most regionals.
Yes the duty rig sure helps, and I'd agree that cancellation pay is a must and its great that we have it. But this is a bankruptcy contract. Please keep that in mind.

Look, the place isn't the worst. It isn't the best, or even second best. If a person plays his cards right Silver is a pretty good place to be. There are reasons that make it good. And those same reasons work for some people and not for others. Live in base, etc etc etc.

All I'm saying is lets not get drunk on Kool Aide and shout from the hill tops how great it is... especially when the person is fresh off IOE. Silver is what it is. Not bad for some, pretty okay for others and horrible for a few. All those variations are pretty much tied back to personal situations and goals in the aviation industry. Yes the company has some issues, but name one that doesn't.

Lets just keep it in perspective and spread complete falsehoods on the internet to a minimum.

You just summed up all of APC.

We can go ahead and shut it down now.

I wonder how many pilots are looking to leave Silver, and how much Silver is going to lose to other regionals with no upgrade class in the horizon.

I am a 2%'er then. This place is the world renowned ATW regional airline of the year. Everyone should feel lucky to be here, as I do. I can only be so lucky to finish my career at "The Silver Airways"!

Where are you based? I was in the same situation, had a few months of lines my first year + months here. Maybe get a base change to where you can hold a line, or will that not matter? I really feel for you guys stuck on reserve, I know how much it sucks, especially if you're not flying.

Silver is what it is, don't get comfortable and keep updating the resumes you have out there.

BTW, for my fellow Taco Bell fans, the Beefy Nacho Crunchy Burrioto is back!!!!!!!
