The side that flies nothing but 50-seats-or-less jets? How much should a pilot group like that be paid? I guess you deserve a CRJ9 override for flying a 135. Is that what it will take? Gee...how could any regional in the US not JUMP at the opportunity to throw that kind of cash at you guys?

I was thinking a pay raise for all pilots at Expressjet (LXJT & LASA).

Don't they basically have what we have? I thought they got our pay plus 2% or something like that. I don't see how their contract is so much cheaper than ours. Maybe I don't understand something about how it works over there. The way this airline has been run the past few years and contracts that were signed with the majors seem to be a higher cost and the biggest expense to this airline. They are the reason we cost so much. I fail to see the peanuts we make as "expensive". That just sounds like an excuse to force concessions. Of course paying your pilots costs money, but to the point you can't afford it?

They sell the kool aid really well over there. They all think they are the best compensated and best QOL but they are just average.

By your repeated use of "we" may "we" assume you are an MEC spokesperson for the pilot group, conveying an official message Luis? good to know your pilot group is being held hostage by us ASA bullies. I find that statement extremely ironic.

By the way, what is the date of that meeting you mentioned? Is it with the NMB appointed mediator?

I think he means ExpressJet as a whole is being held hostage by the SkyWest side. Either way, it was a stupid analogy.

So then how the hell do we get out of here Nate? Are we supposed to sit here and rot in FO limbo forever? I mean I have my stuff out there and always looking for opportunities, but without pic time, we are at the bottom of the resume pile

It's a perfect anology. All three pilot groups are in the same prison with the same warden (CEO). The warden favors them so they don't want the arrangement changed even though the warden is being immoral with us in full sight of Skywest. The basement of the pawn shop scene in pulp fiction comes to mind. But in this case Bruce Willis (Skywest pilots) decide to do nothing. If they were to organize we could all collaborate together in order to make this prison better for all of us, not just them. It's a perfect analogy of what is going on.

Guess you didn't get that I was talking about management... But sure go ahead and make it an us vs. you ****ing contest again. I haven't heard that one in a few hours so, sure go ahead and bring it up again. Im sure your comments will change my mind about the entire thing ...
