The problem with that thinking is, as the whole industry races to the bottom, pretty soon everything will be an outlier.

OJI banks are CRITICAL in this job. A simple injury can remove you from the cockpit for 3 months easily. In a normal job, a twisted ankle or knee keeps you of work for a week at most.

LTD is an insurance benefit which I pay for. The economy stinks, at least if I lose my ability to fly, I have supplement to replace some of my income while training for a new job. Lets keep it for LXJT, if ASA doesn't want it, fine.

As far as Ms. Marren, she is a *former* employee of United. Her most recent gig was as a consultant for the Future Strategies Group, specializing in strategy in the areas of aviation, customer service, operations, emergency response, environmental affairs, labor relations, finance and security.

At United, Ms. Marren oversaw the Network Operations Center, the “nerve center” of the airline, including the functions of Flight Dispatch, Meteorology, and Operations Analysis; Security for the entire United enterprise; all daily operations of United Express, itself the largest airline by number of departures in the world, along with management of its relationships with 7 flying partners; and Emergency Response for all of United.
Not sure if you copied and pasted this information, but do you see her as someone viable that would run the company well?

Of course this place is the wrong place to ask that question, but what the heck!

UAL will chain the doors shut, then offer you preferential interviews so you can start at first year pay flying the 73 out of Newark. The nightmare of BH, has morphed into reality. This is gonna get ugly real quick......SKYW paid cash money for ExpressSurejet, made BH king for a while, now UAL wants their Conti puppet show back. SKYW never would cede control of anything, for any reason, unless they are done with it.

About time Holt left. Between CT & BH they really f$&*ked up a good airline, taking about ASA here. Don't know about LXJT.

Again with the Mr Tough Guy routine. Joe goes with way the wind is currently blowing. All talk & an embarrassment to the ASA pilots. Just ask around.

Well her pic looks hot. Impressive resume. A lady on the move. Don't know what to think about someone from outside Utah taking over. Could be bad news. Should find out fairly quickly.

Ouch... way to take it out of proportion... I was kidding and I am ASA. My butt hurts now.
