I was just wondering what Tony was trying to prove when he said Delta doesn't have the money. The money for what? I wasn't making an argument that Delta was going to buy any regional. I was just saying the Delta leadership is ruthless and are very smart business guys who know what they want and get what they want.

Like I said, unless you've been bent over you don't understand and your post proves my point.

And what are you talking about when you say Delta doesn't have the money?
Yes, that's how the world works... high paid attorneys state their demands, and everyone gives them whatever they ask for. Ya ok. That's your whole argument? Seriously?

And unless Delta has about 1.5 billion in cash laying around, they're going to have a hard time acquiring SkyWest Inc. That's what I mean.

I don't disagree with you at all. It's interesting to watch the endeavor/pinnacle experiment take form. They are imploding from severe under market rates, yet apparently losing airframes to keep up with their attrition. I only bring this up because it was Delta that kept them around to try and reset rates-- something that may be backfiring? I don't know, it still has to play out.

Again, lawyers don't just walk in in snap their fingers... regardless of what they would have you believe.

Pretty sure this is how it's done.

You're creating an argument and arguing with yourself. Once again, Delta has the wherewithal to do what they please and that means manipulating any situation to weasel their way out of contracts or renegotiate terms of a contract. I never mentioned that they would buy or purchase anything or anyone. You brought that up.

We are pawns in all this. Delta is very shrewd with how they run their operation. Anything and everything is open for negotiation. Pinnacle can be sold off with a new CPA guarantee from Delta and they will come out smelling like a rose. Pinnacle is at Delta's mercy just as much as xjt is at skywest's mercy. The joys of being a sub-contractor!
