Quarter? Try top 5%. The number of folks who flew left seat on the 146 are a few dozen, tops. Most of them have been retiring or their retirement is coming soon. Only the top 25% were even at AWAC when the BAe-146 was still in operation here.
Also, anyone who thinks the leaders of any company will have a heart in this industry is delusional. They won't think twice about shutting any place down if that's what creates lower costs/higher profit. Look at Comair. That was a wholly owned company, but it's gone and those senior pilots and F/As were left in the cold. Delta could have scavenged them for their own classes and they didn't.
I hope AWAC has a long and prosperous future.

Agreed. The guys in New York or whoever who actually own this company will easily cash in their money and invest it into something else. Look how involved they are, I couldn't even tell you any of their names. Bet most of them haven't been to Appleton this decade.

We've already reached an agreement in principle. Email comes out tomorrow. It'll be valid for a week. Too soon?

I agree.
AA is AA. I think we all get to a point in this career that an airplane is airplane and city is a city. The most fun I had in Aviation is at the Regional level. First 3 years at Piedmont were INCREDIBLE!
Now my favorite over night is my house. Now instead of wanting to fly we are looking to get the most days off. Things change. Guess the best part is looking for Job Security. Safe to say AA shouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon.
Good Luck.

Yes I believe American has room for tons of improvement. But they are filling up seats and there about to almost double there revenue they generated last year. Just let me collect a paycheck, get based in CLT and I'll leave it to the big wigs to fix the product.

Well each major airline has it's issues. I know people that won't fly United EVER, I know people that won't fly SouthWest EVER.

I don't think they ever belong to Air Wisconsin.
