As to the rumor of 200 going to AWAC I hope they send them all so our pay and goes up even more.

I hear ya. I like the 200 but I'd like the bump in pay better. I was here late in 2014 so I saw the tail end of the shortage. I think we are in store for a repeat of that staffing come April.

Odd as 405 (the Model) has new paint, and I've only heard about 401-404 gtting sidelined from idle chatter on the line. I'd love to see 401-404 go away, between terrible seats and gremlins that come with time and incidents... 402 hasn't been the same since getting the jack poked up its tail.

Also, 401-404 are, according to the FAA's registry, titled to AWAC. I wouldn't be surprised to see them become a huge parts storehouse.

Seems like the last few days, we have been having complete MX meltdowns. The OOS site had the most planes out that I have ever seen. These things are getting to the end of the line.

I misspoke. Rumor is 401-04. But I was also told 5 from PSA. Does this mean a net of 1 airframe? Or more to follow to the parts bin?

Stuff has been getting cancelled in DAY the past couple weeks as well from what I've heard. And to be honest. I've heard people in management say we are having a staffing issue, and I've heard other in management say, "we're actually over staffed". So which is it? Sometimes I think they don't even know. All I know is we need to be hiring more than we are if the plan is to not park airplanes and keep taking deliveries. And people don't want to come to PSA when our pay is now some of the worst in the industry. It was okay when our pay was decent and upgrades were happening left and right. But the game has changed (again). And our management doesn't seem very adept at keeping up with it.

One of our 200s was parked in front of the hangar at PHL. Wish I could remember the number. Could it mean nothing, sure. Could it mean something, maybe.

I find myself getting disappointed with management but then I remember they are used car salesmen. AAG has already dictated what they can and can't do. They are puppets. The rest is just theater. It applies to all the WO.

That is interesting, because we were said to be parking those 4, but then AA ponied up the cash for the big inspection they needed to continue to operate. I think at least one of them is/has been in Rockford getting it done. Why park them after all that? I could see us losing 4 others in the same boat (old close to timing out etc).

I could absolutely see us taking some PSA -200s. Reading there threads it's apparent the gravy train of new hires is at a screeching halt. Shocking.

I read the last few classes had extremely small numbers. I don't see how PSA can even think of taking the rest of their -900 orders and the rest of Eagles -700s. You start getting rid of -200s then maybe you have a shot.

I'm sure one of those was supposed to be coming to YUL. Instead no one calls us and we find out at the airport we are cancelled. We are now operating a flight 3hrs later.
