Well, with 3 or 4 Aircraft going away, it sure makes sense for the company to make things look as bleak as possible so people leave. If they start furloughing then they will have a mass exodus on their hands and the downward spiral really begins. This way, the company can enjoy a nice and orderly reduction of Pilots. The joke may be on them as the mass exodus may have already started.

CommutAir. Live in the DC area and the upgrade is pretty quick.

Yup. Tomorrow makes 3 CA resignations. At this rate they are averaging 1 a day. Have 5 FOs resigning as of tomorrow. It's March 3rd... Good lord.

The amount of FO Open Time is absolutely unreal. Every base except LGA looks like its Initial Open Time. I've never ever seen Daily like this. I have no clue how this all gets covered. Good luck.

Can you say Junior mans? Good thing you have the yearly limit for those.

I don't think the Crew Availability page is that accurate (shocking coming from the AWAC IT department I know). I've noticed that every month, there's a larger than expected number of resignations at the beginning of the month. I think just like the "sick" number, there is some carry-over from the previous month.

Oh yeah. Thankfully I've only had it happen once in 2.5yrs. This last trip the original CA called out. I had 5 different RSV CAs. Each of them looked like they wanted to kill themselves. One guy was Jr. Manned two times last month. He was fatigued both times 👍🏻

Bingo. Got a call yesterday evening (no, I did not answer) for a CA JM with a 1900ish show today.

Compare to the call a few weeks ago that came in at 1230am soliciting JMs for an o-dark-hundred show. Should have called back on that one: "Yes, I'll accept the assignment. Consider me on rest now and what is the adjusted show time?"

Flying is down considerably next month, looking at the number of lines. That should help!
