They have NOT forgotten. They HATE Pinnacle pilots and it is clearly evident when you jumpseat with them. Mentioning who you work for to them, is a conversation stopper. It's as if you told them you have Aids, Hepatitus, and HIV, they are disgusted and want to take a step back. On the surface most seem to shake your hand and be professional, but it's sooo obvious that deep down inside, you are viewed as the enemy.
you ever thought it might be you if you think that many view you or treat you like that? Hell I work with you and your attitude you display on here would be a convo stopper in my jumpseat! I've never had any problem and can't tell you the number of times a classy DL guy has bought me a coffee, cookies or even a meal when jumpseating with them.

I kind of feel like FO's were thrown completely under the bus here. With well over half of the current captains downgrading when this is implemented I don't understand how they expect to get the required votes when the FO scale tops out at 4 years. Should have brought the ca scale down to 8 and the fo scale up to 8.
should be interesting how this plays out.

Vote yes you will lose pay maybe even down to 4 yr of pay. Some will be furloughed less than people think. My personal guess is that the furloughs will be less than 300 total. Keep in mind attrition will not only be to Delta. You also have new rest rules that are going to require increased staffing.
Vote no and you will be furloughed by mid 2014 and your pay will go to mid twenties as you start over at another regional. If you can go to a major then your pay will be higher, but getting hired without being current is difficult.
Seems to me the only logical choice is VOTE YES.
Yes you will lose but you will lose less than voting no unless you are super senior and retiring in the next 18 months

There will most likely be a severance package offered if the TA is voted down anyway in order to keep the planes in the air over the next year (if that truly is the plan). Didn't Comair pilots get a package? I'm not part of the burn it down crowd but I do have to be able live with my decision and I do have some self respect left despite the difficult times of the past 5 years. It is time we start to value ourselves higher as a pilot group. Voting in this TA only serves to devalue ourselves and our profession. I know it isn't fair but sometimes life isn't fair. I will not willing contribute to the downward spiral of this industry.

Haha! You must be 4 ft tall. That's the only build that can tolerate that thing. Nothing like craning your neck to the window & then bending your neck 90 degrees to see out the window. I feel like the walls are closing in on me when I sit in a CRJ200.

What I'm hearing is, if Pinnacle vote this contract down. They will be gone in a year. Is that even possible? There's 180 ish airplanes that will go somewhere. I'm sure some 200's will get parked, the 717 will pick up some of the flying and so on. When Comair got rid of the 200's didn't it take almost 2 years to get rid of 60 ish airplanes? How is Pinnacle going to wind down with 180+ airplanes in a year?

If you are a junior FO and don't think you can get upgraded in time VOTE YES pickup your check and go to the next regional. The 200's will be parked outright and I think it will take a bit longer than a year. The 900's will go quickly as they have other carriers waiting with baited breath to take them. The point is that the furloughing will start more aggressively under the vote no plan. This will be done with no protections.

Delta shuts down Pinnacle. Pinnacle's 41 CRJ-900s (funny its almost the same number) get transferred to new airline instead of new factory deliveries. They are taken up without any problems at all.
Factory deliveries are then reallocated again and the cycle repeats.
