Also time on reserve will depend on base and future hiring. I've been here 2 years and I'm still on reserve (had a line here and there). Got pushed back onto reserve due to the ATRs going away and LAX base closure. I don't know what the future holds for reserve times, but I'm senior on the reserve list and I live in base so QOL is excellent just now.
That's what I'm afraid of, that I'd be on reserve for quite a while, I don't live at a base and I'd actually end up losing money if I got hired on at Eagle.

As long as you aren't in the bottom 10 of a base reserve won't be TOO bad. Granted it won't be all sunshine and rainbows but you can typically make your schedule commutable.

Oh, I'm quite sure I'd be in the bottom. I can't even get an interview with AE. Even still, it would be an easy commute in from Little Rock to DFW I'd imagine.

With your quals, you should be a good candidate for a major. Maybe that's why they haven't called you as they think you'll bail at the first opportunity but I do believe they are having trouble getting new FO's in the door. I can't understand this company. I don't think Skywest is hiring now but I would recommend them over Eagle any day.
At any rate, if you haven't received any feedback, I can forward your stuff on to the recruiter. Just send me a PM.
Oh, LIT-DFW can be a tough commute. It's better now since they have MD-80's on the route but when it was all Embraer's, every flight every day was oversold.

How many hours have you been flying recently? You might need to beg, barrow, or steal time in something that burns 100LL. I am surprised certain companies that are hurtin' for pilots aren't beating down your door. Maybe lack of recency is why. Maybe if all else fails find a 135 gig for now.

That's a bummer about commuting to DFW. Living in Little Rock is like living in the hinterlands! Until I get hired on somewhere though, I'm not inclined to move. I still have one all-expenses paid move left!
I received a real nice PM, he gave me the recruiter email, I send them an email to see if they ever sent anything out.

My last flight was 31 Jan, I've got about 430 over the last year. I got my ATP last October and started sending out applications and resumes, but haven't heard much. Job Fairs are incredibly expensive, but that seems to be the way to go. Can't wait for the WAI Conference.
