Check your hotel for bedbugs. A few guys in our class had them and they suffered the first few nights. Especially if you're at the Sleep Inn. Although I heard some new hires are getting put in the Best Western. Can't imagine how much better it is over there.

Our class is at the Best Western Plus Tempe. How do you check for bed bugs?

While I haven't personally been, I heard the best western is far better. Unfortunately crews staying in PHX for AQP still stay at the sleep inn.

Go to the bed and remove the main covers and pull up the sheets near the head of the bed by the wall. Pull up the last sheet and check for feces left behind by bedbugs and the actual bugs themselves.
Google "bedbugs" and look at images.

I've actually grown to like the Sleep Inn (at least for a short stay). The vans are usually quick, the Hilton across the street has a good restaurant and gym, and the Sleep Inn's free dinner and breakfast has gotten a little better. The internet could be a lot better though. Never have had bed bugs there, but I know last year a lot of hotels were having that problem.
