How do these four Ejet upgrades involve PHX and next summer with them moving the CRJ's to DFW? If you are not in the upper 90 on the Roster in PHX you will not be in PHX. Period. 519-547 can't even hold PHX captain right now yet alone next summer. You keep drinking that Koolaid dude.

So hypothetically, if that happened, what happens when guys with more seniority reach their 1000 hours SIC time and want to upgrade? I assume street Captains wouldn't be downgraded, so those upgrade guys just have to sit and wait until other Captain slots open up?

Exactly. Depending on how many, street captain would be a life of eternal reserve. Some of those guys will upgrade straight into a line.

Quit thinking about this foolish street captain bs. Mesa is NOT going to do that. It's another one of JO's comments that have no facts to back it up. Mesa is growing but not at the pace JO claims. I've heard his talk before about new contracts and new flying. Yes it us true about that but not at the size he was talking about. He said we would get more flying from United EJET. But, guess what it went to RAH. More flying from AAG out of LAX? Guess what it's only temporary until next year when RAH takes it with the EJET.

Actually, at the places I have been or heard of that did hire street CA's it had very little effect on quick upgrades. The only bad thing was flying with them and listening to them ***** about eternal reserve as senior FO"s finally got the time and upgraded. As if they didn't see that one coming….
