A change of pace question.
I noticed about 10 pages back some concerns about consolidation issues.
Can anyone shed some light on the following:
I am already typed on the CRJ with over 5000 hrs in type. Will the consolidation rule come into play for me once out of training this time???
Thanks

Consolidation is operator-specific--you're still required to be consolidated at Mesa regardless of prior experience.
It could be a prob in bases like IAD where there are 20-30 FOs sitting around watching Netflix every day.

Interesting that they are still having open houses for pilot jobs when a previous poster said they are going to stop hiring in January. The way we are fat on pilots right now and they are still hiring does make you wonder if something is coming.

Don't you have more airplanes still yet to be delivered? Wouldn't it make sense that they hired while they could so the planes could be staffed immediately rather than playing catch up in a spotty labor market? Especially with as bad and few incentives that the Mesa contract has to offer?

JO said Friday to the new hires that we are getting some of Eagle's 700s, which confused me because I thought AAG had already said they are all going to PSA.
