I wish DeltaJuliet was an EJet FO so we could fly with him.

I'd be like "hey, new guy, can I get some landing gear, or is that going to give you a rage stroke? Please? Gear down? I hope you're not ****ed at me."

Next thing you know you'd be asking me for flaps. Where would it end?

Apparently one of our jets just sucked an owl through its #2 engine on final into DFW. No word on whether the owl enjoyed it.

In other news, Envoy crews are rumored to be getting lippy with us on Ground and/or Ramp, also at DFW. So much for rolling out the welcome mat!

I've heard some stuff, but it's more a result of Mesa not knowing the lingo, or being jerks ourselves. In response to a misunderstood call from ramp the other day, I heard a Mesa pilot say something like "Can you repeat that one more time for me in English?" in his best agitated white boy voice. So embarrassing.

Good point, there needs to be an unofficial document with all the tribe knowledge. Yes I know I'm asking for too much.

They're actually working on that, there was a meeting today with the airport, about deicing procedures, I think. But that wasn't the nature of the exchange I mentioned tonight; the Eagle dude intentionally blocked one of our planes and said something like "not exactly a warm welcome, is it?"

I jumpseated on Eagle recently, and the FO said something asinine like "hope you guys are happy with our flying." Luckily, the Captain (whom I had chatted with for a while at the gate) was like "this guy (pointing to me) is on his second airline--you paid for your job at AllATPs with 250 hours like lots of guys on our seniority list--give him a break."

I wanted to say "aannnnnnnd the Captain drops the mic" so badly on that jumpseat I almost couldn't restrain myself.
