There is a slow trickle of people from Lakes going to Spirit, Frontier, and other second tier carriers. But there's an even greater number of jet RJ pilots with zero pic time going to these places as well (and several to United and Airways.)

The truth is, airlines have shifted their value to jet/FMS time, and in my case "aircraft weight" as I've been hired flying the NG overseas. Of course, if you're bumbling around as even a captain on the 1900 or 120, that opportunity isn't available unfortunately.

I have respect for the skills required to fly full procedures in the stated aircraft, but in terms of career progression, Lakes is more often than not a dead end.

Are Great Lakes minimums at 750tt? Do people apply to GL at 750tt, get hired, build time to 1500 and then apply to other regionals? Would this be a fast way to get to 1500?

Those are the minimums for applicants with prior military flight training and a restricted ATP. You will still need normal ATP minimums to work there.

Anyone knows QOL @ GL? If you go with the minimums are you flying like crazy? SCHEDULE and PAY?

I think Great Lakes went out of business a few months back. Why are you resurrecting such an old thread?

At Great Lakes you will not get paid during training. There is a 15 month non-pro rated contract which begins AFTER you finish training. Starting out you will be on reserve and you won't fly much. Once you get a line then you will fly a lot.
