Sim time is already tight. Latest classes waiting for up to a month. Unless resources are added, it may be somewhat of a lofty promise to take 'eagle's flying'.

Do they run one class a month, or two? Filling classes of 20-30 is vastly different if it's a single class each month, or two classes each month. What are the attrition rates? If they're hiring 30 but losing 35 it makes a difference.

This info will help some of your other regional bro's get a big picture. Places like RAH have nice shiny jets too, more deliveries coming, with much better pay but can't hire enough pilots or retain enough pilots. Something doesn't add up that a place taking delivery of the same type of jets but with substandard pay is able to hire while the rest can't. Something just doesn't add up.

One class every 3 weeks give or take. All classes are 100% show, and only a hand full haven't made it though in the last few months. Attrition from the last 4 months has been 2-3 total per month. 56 total for 2013.

Really? RAH is parking old airplanes and replacing them with new airplanes. Mesa is getting new airplanes. One of these things is not like the other.

Default Attrition/etc.

Attrition numbers are fact. The classes are undoubtedly fueled by growth. If you've got the time to UPG, it's a likely within a couple years. Unfortunately that's the pay band-aid until you get on to something else or people stop showing up and the contract gets fixed. No big surprise.

I dunno. Is Mesa now for some reason becoming a good place to work?

Well I'm sure the company would never be deceptive about being able to fill classes.

What's the breakdown of the backgrounds of people getting hired? Mostly flight instructors, other regionals, 135, etc. ?

Do they even do interviews now, or is everything over the phone and then "when can you show up for class?"

It used to be they would hire anyone that could "fog a mirror", now they've made the hiring process even easier for those that couldn't pass that test...
