Knowing the man behind the screen name I'd say he's connected. He is in a position where there's interaction most aren't around daily... Anyway on the PSA site I noticed press articles... Some talking about the their maintenance team inspecting the first plane etc.... Looks to be a done deal... CLT also seems to make a whole lot of sense.

CLT-RDU is mostly mainline, and full at that. Are you saying exclusive as in amongst regionals?
