How is the LGA base. Is it junior / time to holding a line.

* Also a general question about all regionals but are you generally given a choice as to which aircraft you would like to fly? Is this in writing?

Thanks.
Why dont you try commutair? EWR base. Better starting pay. Upgrades around 2 years. Small pilot group.

I, along with 50 other pilots per month, have left Endeavor with 6+ years of seniority if that tells you anything.

1 week vacation year one and two weeks after year two and up from there. The only thing that sucks about this place is the pay and the lack of a way to attract new hires right now. Like many have said above we are growing our NYC presence by quite a bit. If you could get on here at the beginning of some sort of wave(there isn't huge one now), and could live near NYC or commute easily you could be a line holder quickly and move up the list out there fairly quick because a lot of guys/gals don't want to commute from the midwest/south( memphis) to NYC. There is change in the wind here for the better( I hope) and a lot of us just can't see it. Our management keeps reiterating that Delta is firmly committed to Endeavor, and that's is about the only official thing we ever hear. You could come here and upgrade in 2-3 years if things turned around here, it's all a guess. As far as our contract is concerned a lot of our work rules are from our old JCBA and they are above industry average to average. Insurance and benefits are good also, not great but good. From the research I've done our contract is better than the other bottom feeders out there and we have one of the biggest airlines in the world backing us.

Ah cheers mate but I need something in the heavier category of aircraft so Cr7+ or EMB 170 + otherwise that might be quite fun to work with a small group like that.

Underwing engines. I remember when regionals would take anyone with a commercial, republic's mins were still 1500 for the 170. I thought it was cuz they had a good contract. Nope just cuz it had underwing engines apparently.

Just want to clear that up. We accrue one week of vacation in year one to be used in year two. So, in year one, you don't actually get any vacation. Year two you also accrue 1 week to be used year 3. Years three, four, and five you accrue 2 weeks to be used in the subsequent year.

Sorry guys new to the regional jet scene, coming from military. Is there any spot on the forums or the web that have a breakdown of what the different airline pay terms mean? Example ,min day.

This website has airline profiles, but they are pretty outdated.

Min day means you get paid that no matter what. Endeavors min day is 4 hours. So if you show up to work and fly DTW-FWA-DTW which is blocked at about 2 hours total, youll be paid for 4 hours.

That's not true. Even the last Aip at eagle theoretically offered 50% or 30 slots if under 60 in the class to eagle. There's further rumors something like this is the long term plan. Delta will follow suit.
